KODI Radio recently asked folks whether they would support a proposed piece of legislation in Wyoming that is hoping to create a film incentive program by using $3 million in statewide lodging tax to attract qualifying productions, including films, T.V. shows & commercials.
The question: “Would you support using statewide lodging tax to incentivize film companies to shoot projects here in Wyoming?”
Here are the results:
Based on audience votes, 57.1% of people would support legislation to bring more film and television production to Wyoming, 25% would be opposed to legislation meant to attract this business, and 17.9% remain unsure about the impact of this proposed legislation.
In short, most people who responded to this poll would be in favor of passing a film incentive program to bring more movies, T.V. shows, and commercials to Wyoming.
A big thank you to everyone who voted in this KODI Radio poll!
