KZMQ Host Brayden McCoy Takes Part In “DJ Storytime” at Local Library

Park County Library in collaboration with the local radio stations at Big Horn Basin Media recently introduced the return of a unique and exciting program called “DJ Storytime.” This a fun 30-minute session where radio personalities take on a new role as storytellers. Children and their families gather at the library every Wednesday morning to enjoy a reading session led by one of the station’s on-air talent.

Each week, a DJ selects a variety of books to read aloud, ranging from classic children’s stories to contemporary favorites. From adventure tales to fantastical journeys, the stories come to life through the personality of each DJ. During this past week’s session, Brayden’s expressive voice and animated gestures kept the children engaged throughout each of the stories.

DJ Storytime has attracted a growing number of attendees. By combining the magic of radio and the joy of reading, this program has become a fun community event.
