Lady Warrior Basketball Host Mountain View And Lyman This Weekend

The Lady Warrior Basketball team will face two top 5 teams in Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball this weekend.
Number 3 ranked Mountain View on Friday at 5:30 pm and Number 4 ranked Lyman on Saturday at 11:30 am at Warrior Gymnasium.
The Lady Warriors are 3-10 overall this season and 1-2 in the Northwest Conference.
Worland has wins over Wind River 57-46, Rocky Mountain 36-31, and Thermopolis 45-31.
Friday the Lady Warriors will see the Number 3 Ranked Mountain View Lady Buffalos at 5:30 pm.
Mountain View is 15-1 this season with a loss in conference to Pinedale 59-46.
Worland faced Mountain View back on January 6th at the Pinedale Winter Classic, the Lady Buffs won 58-30.
Saturday the Lady Warriors will square off against WyoPreps Coaches and Media Poll number 4 ranked Lyman Lady Eagles.
Lyman is 12-2 this season and 2-1 in the Southwest conference.
The Lady Eagles lost to Buffalo 58-35 and Mountain View 59-56 for their only losses this season.
Worland has the number 15 ranked scoring offense in Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball averaging 32.9 points per game with the 14th ranked shooting percentage at 29.6 per game average.
Defensively the Lady Warriors are ranked 12th overall allowing 46.7 points per game, and 15th in rebounding at 24 per game.
Mountain View has the number 5 ranked scoring offense with an average of 56.2 points per game and a shooting percentage of 37.5 per game ranking them 6th in Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball.
Defensively the Lady Buffs rank number 1 in Wyoming 3A Girls Basketball allowing 32.8 points per game, the Lady Buffs also have the number 1 ranked rebounding team averaging 44.6 a game. An incredible 12 rebounds a game more than the number 2 ranked rebounding team.
Lyman has the number 6 ranked scoring offense with an average of 54.4 points per game and is ranked 7th with 35.5% shooting from the field.
Defensively the Lady Eagles are ranked 4th overall allowing 35.9 points per game and are 45th in rebounding with a 32.2 average per game.
The Lady Warriors are led in scoring by Yahaira Aguayo with a 9.3 per game average. Nayelli Aguayo leads the team in assists with 29 and steals with 37. Manaia Peterson leads the team in rebounds with 5.2 per game.
Mountain View is led in scoring by McKinlee Covolo with 15.6 per game, she also leads the team in rebounds with 10.6 per game, and blocks with 24.
Cami Kenison leads the team in assists with 70 and steals with 42.
Lyman is led in scoring by Sage Bradshaw with 16.3 points per game. Wyoming 3A’s 2nd leading scorer.
Hallie Bluemel leads the Lady Eagles in rebounding with an average of 5.1 per game. Caroline Bradshaw leads the team in assists with 42 and steals with 65.
