Lady Warrior Basketball Lose Two At Home

The Lady Warriors were at home for the conference openers this past Friday and Saturday.
Friday Worland faced Lovell for the second time in six days.
Worland started the first period on pace with the Lady Bulldogs down by 4 with a 10-6 finish at the opening 8 minutes.
Halftime Worland was down by 8 trailing 21-13.
The third period was tough on the Lady Warriors as the Lady Bulldogs scored 11 and took a 32-19 lead.
Worland would lose to Lovell by 22, 48-26, and go to 2-9 / 0-1 in the conference.
Yahaira Aguayo led the team in scoring with 9, followed by Manaia Peterson with 8.
The Lady Warriors were in foul trouble throughout the game with Peterson, Aguayo, and MacKenzie Ray each having 4 fouls. Nayelli Aguayo had fouled out.
Lovell’s Kallie Owens scored 19 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs.
Saturday Worland would host Powell for the second conference game of the season.
Each team came out quickly in the first period with Powell taking a 20-12 lead.
Nayelli Aguayo came out in the first half with 7 points including hitting a 3-pointer.
The Lady Panthers would hold the lead 31-22 to end the first half.
The Lady Warriors would cool in the second half scoring only 4 points in the 3rd period and ending the period down by 17, 43-26.
Worland would lose 54-35 and go to 2-10 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Nayelli lead the team in scoring with 13 followed by Yahaira Aguayo with 9.
Maddie Campbell had 14 leading Powell in scoring.
