Lady Warrior Volleyball Begin New Era

The Lady Warriors Girls Volleyball team will begin the 2022-2023 with a new Coaching Staff.

Becky Wassum will be the new Varsity Head Coach. Karan Maya is the new Junior Varsity Head Coach, and Joanna Peterson is the new Freshman Head Coach.

Worland will also compete in a new Northwest Quad :

Every Quad in Wyoming 3A had changes that effect the landscape of the Conferences in Volleyball.

Kemmerer and Burns both moved down in classifications to 2A.

While Glenrock and Moorcroft moved up in classifications to 3A in Volleyball.

The new alignment for Wyoming 3A Girls Volleyball:

There are six Seniors on this squad.

Reece Sanford, Sophia Scheuerman, Lecsi Ramirez, Karen Navarro, Josie Decker, and Brenna Argeris.

Along with key Juniors Nayelli Aguayo, Yahaira Aguayo, Manaia Peterson, Adisyn Rollins, Ellianna Baumstark, and Sophomore MacKenzie Ray.

The Lady Warriors finished the season last year 13-22-1 overall and 4-3 in Conference

They earned the second seed from the Northwest Quad.

Unfortunately the Lady Warriors did not qualify for State in 2021.

The season starts in Cody on Sept 2nd and 3rd for Boarder Wars, which will include 4 matches against Montana teams.

Conference play begins at home September 9th for a Homecoming match against Lovell.
