Lady Warrior Volleyball Split In Conference Play

The Lady Warriors Volleyball team started Conference play last weekend.

Friday on Homecoming Night Worland would face Conference opponent Lovell Lady Bulldogs.

Worland would win the match 3 sets to 1 over Lovell : 21-25,25-17,25-13,25-23.

On Saturday afternoon the Lady Warriors were in Powell to face the Lady Panthers at Panther Gym.

Coming off of Homecoming Night the Lady Warriors would fall to Powell 3 sets to 1.

The scores for the sets: 25-13,26-24,22-25,25-19.

The Lady Warriors are 1-1 in Conference and 6-5-1 overall.

The 3A Northwest Conference:

Powell 10-5-1/2-0

Worland 6-5-1/1-1

Lovell 8-9-1/1-1

Thermopolis 2-12/1-1

Lovell beat Thermopolis Tuesday Night: 25-15,25-21,25-20.

The Lady Warriors play another Conference Match Thursday at home against Thermopolis.

Friday the Lady Warriors will travel to Casper for the Casper Invite.

The Tournament is set up for Pool Play Day 1 and Bracket Play Day 2.

Pool A: Thunder Basin, Evanston, Cheyenne South, Douglas.

Pool B: Laramie, Riverton, Campbell County, Big Horn.

Pool C: Natrona County, Cheyenne East, Rock Springs, Rawlins.

Pool D: Kelly Walsh, Cheyenne Central, Sheridan, Worland.

Worland will play 4A number 1 Ranked Kelly Walsh at 10 AM Friday.

At approximately Worland will play Sheridan next at 4 PM.

The late match will be at approximately 6 PM against Cheyenne Central.

Day 2 will be determined by seeding.

The top 2 teams from every Pool will be in the Gold Bracket.

The bottom 2 teams will be in the Silver Bracket.
