A gathering this afternoon at Cody Coffee Roasters will give insight to state officials on the health needs of the community.
Stephanie Pyle is the Acting Senior Administrator of the Public Health Division for the Wyoming Department of Health. She says there are ten community engagement sessions across the state, and they are designed to gather information from citizens regarding the health issues they are facing.

Pyle says that the State already has quantitative data – meaning they have numbers and statistics regarding state health issues. However, the statewide listening sessions will provide qualitative data, which will help officials develop a complete State Health Improvement Plan.

Pyle says the open houses around the state were developed in partnership with the Wyoming Business Council. Pyle adds that anyone who can’t make the community engagement session can give their input by taking an online survey at sha.wyo.gov/engagement.
