MAN CONVICTED OF CODY BURGLARY ESCAPES

Man who was arrested for burglary in Cody has escaped from the lockdown unit of a Casper halfway house.
29-year-old Richard Thomas Fountaine the second was discovered missing from a secure unit of the Casper Re-Entry Center following a facility count at about 9:45 p.m. Friday, according to a press release from the Wyoming Department of Corrections. Local and state law enforcement have been notified.
Fountaine was sentenced in June of 2017 in Park County to three to five years in prison for a burglary that occurred in August of 2016. He and a female were arrested in Casper after they had been caught on video stealing a purse from a vehicle belonging to the owner of Bubba’s Barbecue.
Fountaine is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 148 pounds and has dirty blond hair, hazel eyes and numerous tattoos on his neck, chest and arms. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Authorities warn that Fountaine should be considered dangerous and he should not be approached. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.
