May is Mental Health Awareness Month

As the month of May is quickly coming to a close, I thought now would be a good reminder to check on your mental health – Not just during the month of May, which is known as Mental Health Awareness Month, but take time each day, even if it’s 30 minutes of alone time, to destress yourself.
So what is Mental Health Awareness Month?
Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health & wellness in Americans’ lives, as well as to celebrate recovery from mental illness. It’s an opportunity for all of us to come together & remember the value we each hold – This year’s theme is #MoreThanEnough
