Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby

The annual Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby is the first weekend of February, and the Meeteetse Visitor’s Center holds its annual member’s meeting this week.

The MVC’s annual meeting is Thursday, January 13, starting at 7:00 PM, at the Meeteetse Conservation District.  After a COVID-forced hiatus, residents from Meeteetse and surrounding communities are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting and consider running for an officer position on the Board of Directors. Kristen Yoder, Executive Director at the Meeteetse Visitor’s Center, says the 14th annual Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby, with the theme this year of ‘What’s On Your Hook’ is Saturday and Sunday, February 5th and 6th, and everyone’s invited.
