“Miller Time” May have a New Meaning
Written by Mac Morey on March 24, 2021
In a year where bar hopping and going out have been mitigated, Miller Lite is trying to fill the gap with its own beer scented candle.
Instead of cracking open a beer before the game how about spark up the “Game Day Bar” scented candle… Yeah I’ll probably pass but the creativity is admirable to say the least.
I would be curious to smell the concoction that is a “Beer Garden” candle though. Especially considering the cause of these candles is a good one. All proceeds from the candle sales will benefit the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG,) a nonprofit supporting bartenders and service industry employees.
They are 20$ each.
Carol Krienik, the associate marketing manager for Miller Lite said that a big factor in this promotion is that, “in the environment we’re in right now, Miller Time can’t happen in the bars we love, so we’re bringing that experience to our drinkers as much as we can so they can have that Miller Time feeling at home.”
