More Gates Open to Yellowstone

The National Park Service says that weather-permitting, the South Entrance & select roads in Yellowstone will open Friday, May 10th.
The South Entrance to West Thumb, Lake Village to West Thumb, West Thumb to Old Faithful, and Tower Junction to Tower Fall will open Friday, May 10, at 8 a.m. to public motorists.
Additionally, the Wyoming Department of Transportation announced yesterday that U.S. 212 between the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and Cooke City, Montana, is open. However, plowing activities are still under way on the Beartooth Highway, Highway 212 between the Chief Joseph Highway and Red Lodge, Montana.
