According to the National Weather Service, the detailed forecast for Cody, Wyoming is as follows, “a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 56. East northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south southwest after midnight.”
Possible flooding and flash floods in Cody and in Park County are possible and likely due to excessive rain outlook.
Friday
The detailed weather forecast for Friday should look like this, “a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 5 to 13 mph becoming north in the afternoon.”
