New Fair Coordinator Expects Good Year

New leadership for the Park County Fair doesn’t mean a whole lot of changes for this year’s annual celebration.

Mike Garza is the new Fair Coordinator for Park County. He took over the position earlier this year as an addition to his duties with the Building and Grounds division. Garza is sharing the responsibilities for planning and coordinating the fair with office manager Audra Jewell.

Garza says despite the changes made just a few short months before the fair gets underway July 23^rd, participants in the fair won’t see very many changes this year, as the previous team had set everything in motion before he took over.

Garza says there are a few structural changes in the works for some of the fair buildings, but those will be complete by fair time.

The Park County Fair will run from July 23^rd through the 26^th, and Garza notes that the schedule of events and other information is available on the website parkcountyfair.com.
