New Fire Reported in Sunlight

A new fire has been reported in the Sunlight Basin.

Yesterday evening, a fire was detected northwest of Cody, in the Sulphur Creek area. The incident has been named the Stinkingwater Fire, and has been estimated to be about 50 acres as of last night.

Shoshone National Forest Officials are attending morning fire briefings, and will have updates on both the Fishhawk Fire and the Stinkingwater Fire later today. Stay tuned to the Big Horn Radio Network for more information as it is made available.
