Northwest College Athletics Weekend Recap

Yesterday, I took a look at how Cody teams fared. Today, a look at how local and regional college teams performed over the weekend.
The Northwest College Volleyball team took to the road last weekend for a pair of conference matches at Rock Springs and Casper.
On Friday, they were matched-up with Western Wyoming Community College and would come a way with the 3 games to 1 victory: 25-18, 25-16, 20-25, 25-19.
On Saturday, they squared off against Casper College, and again, came away vicotrious, earing the 3 game sweep: 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.
Following all the action the Lady Trappers are now 17-7 on the season, 4-1 in Region IX Conference play.
Up Next: Northwest College wil have three games this week, all on the road.
Thursday- they travel to Burns, Wyoming to face Otero College.
Friday- They’re in Torrington to face Eastern Wyoming College.
Saturday- They’re in Cheyenne to face Laramie County Community College.
The Northwest College Soccer teams were back in action, Saturday, as they traveled East to Casper.
The Northwest College women’s team fell to Casper College by a final of 5-0.
The Men would fall by a final of 7-1.
The Lady Trappers are now 2-11 this season, 1-6 in conference play.
The men are now 4-9-1 overall, 1-6 in league play.
Up Next: The Northwest College Soccer teams are back home Friday, October 14th hosting Central Wyoming College, for their final game of the regular season.
