The event is being produced by the NWC Office of Intercultural Programs and this year honors Professor Emerita Harriet Bloom-Wilson.

According to NWC, “Tickets are $50…Those attending are asked to RSVP by September 30th. A social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the main event at 7:00 p.m.”

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here.

“The night’s menu includes French cuisine and wine, with hors d’oeuvres, salad, a main course, and dessert,” Northwest College says.

The honoree for the event, Ms. Bloom-Wilson, has served as Northwest College’s primary cultural ambassador for 40 years. Born and raised in New York, she completed her graduate studies at the University of New Mexico. While there, she met her husband Dr. Richard Wilson.

In January 1981, the couple moved to Powell where they raised their daughters and established roots at the college and in the community. Since her retirement in 2012, Harriet has continued her service as an advisor to the NWC Intercultural Program Office staff where she also has a “dedicated programming volunteer.”

Taste the Nations aims to raise funds for the NWC Intercultural Program’s Global Passport Partners. Additional donations provide international student scholarships and supports student travel funding.
