Northwest College to Offer RN Training at Cody Center
Written by Andrew-Rossi on October 28, 2019
Eight students will be in the first Registered Nurse Program at Northwest College’s Cody Center in 2020.
The program begins in January of next year, and has been designed to accommodate the busy schedules of nontraditional students in Cody, mainly working individuals and families. Four courses, making up the bulk of the program, will be delivered online. In-person labs will be held at the Park County Complex in Cody, with other clinical experiences offered at facilities in the area.
Students enrolled in the program in Cody will follow the same admission process and day-to-day expectations as students on NWC’s Powell campus. The program is also open to licensed practical nurses seeking to become RNs. LPNs have an option for advanced placement in the program beginning in Spring 2021.
The deadline for the first RN Program at Northwest College’s Cody Center is November 1st. Interested students can apply at http://www.nwc.edu/nursing/.
