On Monday, Cam Levett announced three new additions to the Northwest College Women’s basketball team. A pair of them come right from the Big Horn Basin.
It was announced that Kait Wassum has singed on to play for the Lady Trappers. Wassum is a 2020 graduate from Worland and will be transferring from the track team at MSU-Billings. Wassum was All-State in both volleyball and basketball and a State Champion in the 100 and 200 meter dash.
Another local talent being added to the Lady Trapper roster is a home grown product from Powell, Madi Fields. Fields is a multi-sport athlete. Coach Levett says “excited to add this future X-Ray tecvh to our program!”
And the thrid and final signing from Monday is Page Nield from Star Valley. Nield was an All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State selection in basketball during her junior season. She couldn’t play her senior year due to an ACL injury. “We look forward to having her back on the court,” says coach Levett.
