One-Way Traffic Over Shoshone Bridge
Written by Andrew-Rossi on March 28, 2019
If you’re traveling between Lovell and Cowley, be aware that for the next couple of weeks, traffic has been restricted to one-way only.
Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Michael Miller of Basin says one-way traffic has been implemented across the Shoshone River bridge on the $11.7 million Sage Creek highway and bridge improvement project.
Miller said Shoshone River bridge improvements will continue through the summer. Chip sealing of the roadway, seeding and reclamation is also scheduled for this spring and summer. Miller urged drivers to move slowly and watch for workers on the bridge, as this work involves removing the existing curb on the bridge.
Completion date for the project is October 31st.
