Paving Project Almost Complete on 310

Written by on November 20, 2018

Paving is mostly complete between Lovell and Cowley on US Highway 310.
Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Michael Miller of Basin says that traffic is using the new highway alignment north of the junction with Hwy 14A, and weather permitting, the contractor will now concentrate efforts on approach paving through this Wednesday. WYDOT is scheduled to stripe the $11.7 million-dollar project prior to this week’s Thanksgiving holiday. Miller says that once striping is complete and the delineator posts are installed, the traffic control will be removed from the highway.
Miller adds that Shoshone River bridge improvements will continue through the winter, weather permitting, as well as removal of the old Sage Creek and railroad bridges.
