Phone Scam in Bighorn County

The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents of a phone scam that has been reported locally.
Officials say that recently there have been calls to people in Big Horn county, including to County employees, from the local number 307-206-0063. The caller is asking for support for a law enforcement agency, through an organization that Bighorn County has not heard of.
Officials at the Sheriff’s Department says that their agency is in no way a part of the scam. They say to tell the caller to remove your number from their list, and do not call again – or simply hang up on them.
