A local bank is giving back to its community – by giving back to its employees.
Pinnacle Bank Wyoming this week is paying a special bonus of $1000 to each full time associate to share the benefit of the tax cut passed by Congress last week.
Dusty Schutzman, president of the Cody branch, says the decision was made by the owners of the bank after they had reviewed the new tax measure.
Schutzman adds that by giving this bonus to their employees, they are encouraging economic growth in the communities – he says the ripple effect of this $1000 bonus for each of their employees will boost spending in local businesses.
Additionally, the bank, which has 160 associates in its 11 locations in Wyoming, is also providing a benefit to their customers. Schutzman says that they are also increasing the interest rates on all of their money market accounts.
