Powell Attorney Lauded for Commitment to Children

A Powell Attorney has received an award for her dedication to helping children who are caught up in the legal system.
Sandra Kitchen has been named the 2017 Children’s Justice Project Golden Award for, quote, “extraordinary commitment to Wyoming children and families involved in the court system,” endquote.
The award was presented by retired Wyoming Supreme Court Justice Michael Golden, for whom the award is named. The award is presented each year at the statewide Children’s Justice Conference and is given to a leading practitioner in the field of child welfare. Kitchen received the award for her work in the Guardian Ad Litem program in which she represents the interests of children in juvenile court cases.
Kitchen has practiced law in Powell for 34 years and has been a partner in her current firm for 30 years.
