Powell Chamber / PEP Join Forces

It’s official – the Powell Economic Partnership and the Powell Valley Chamber of Commerce will be revealing their newly integrated organization on Friday.
After months of community outreach, focus groups and research, PEP and the Chamber have decided to formally consolidate to create a more streamlined offering of business, economic and community development services for Powell. That’s according to PEP Executive Director Christine Bekes.
Bekes also pointed out the benefits of having a visitor center manager, which she says adds a sharper focus of how the Chamber and PEP markets to outside visitors.
The meeting to introduce the new organizational structure, give an update on current initiatives, and reveal Membership Benefits is on Friday, October 13 at 8:15 a.m. It is open to the public and will be held at The Commons.
