Powell Medical Foundation Breaks Ground on Heartland Renovation Project

The Powell Medical Foundation (PMF) broke ground yesterday (10/03/22) on its Heartland Renovation project under the supervision of the new Executive Director, Amy Wells.
The project is being handled in multiple phases with phase 1 starting this October. Funding for the project has been provided by PMF.
The renovation project includes an outdoor living area and walkway.
The Heartland Assisted Living Community provides is designed for the ultimate comfort for residents. The center embrace a holistic approach to preserve the independence of its residents, with access to care, socialization, activities and events that promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
According to a 2022 Resident survey, “100% of Heartland Residents would recommend The Heartland to others,” their website states.
Assisted living facilities help seniors live in a community for those with minimal needs for assistance with daily living and care. It’s purpose is to help adults live independently in a safe environment.
