Republican Party Investigates “Altercation”

The Wyoming Republican Party is investigating an incident involving two party officials.
Party Chairman Frank Eathorne says a quote, “alleged altercation” occurred the evening of Feb. 23rd.
Eathorne says party Executive Director Kristi Wallin initiated a complaint in the matter and it is now under investigation. The Casper Star-Tribune reported that Eathorne says the incident involved Wallin and party secretary Charles Curley.
Wallin is a paid staff member of the party while Curley was elected secretary by party members.
In a statement, Eathorne stressed that, quote, “The Wyoming Republican Party views all mistreatment of others and potential acts of aggression as serious until proven otherwise,” endquote. He went on to say that this was an isolated incident that in no way was indicative of how the individuals and representatives of the party conduct themselves.
