Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inducts Willie Nelson

Today, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced that Willie Nelson will be inducted into the hall.
Some of the other inductees include Rage Against the Machine, The Spinners, Kate Bush, George Michael, Sheryl Crow, and Missy Elliott.

John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stated in a release that “This year’s incredible group of inductees reflects the diverse artists and sounds that define rock and roll. We are honored that this November’s Induction Ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music culture; the 90th birthday of Willie Nelson and the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop.”
As mentioned, Willie Nelson also just turned ninety years old last week. He rang in his birthday in style as Kris Kristofferson and George Strait both put on unforgettable performances.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a set of rules that makes a singer eligible to be voted into the hall. For example, the first album that an artist puts out needs to be a minimum of 25 years old before being inducted.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for November 3rd in New York. More information will become available as we get closer to the ceremony.
