Shell Falls Closed This Summer

Visitors wanting to explore Shell Falls on Highway 14 through the Bighorns will be disappointed this summer.
The Shell Falls Interpretive Site in the Bighorn National Forest will be closed in 2017 for reconstruction of the site’s interpretive trail.
According to Bighorn National Forest officials, visitor services such as information, education, and interpretation will be provided at the Burgess Junction Visitor Center, which is scheduled to open May 27th for the Memorial Day weekend.
