St. Jude Fundraiser

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be receiving a few more dollars this year, thanks to a bit of silliness and a lot of generosity at Cassie’s Supper Club in Cody last night.
The seventh annual Big Horn Radio Network Celebrity Dinner was held at Cassie’s yesterday, with characters such as Roy Rogers, Star Trek officers, rodeo clowns, hillbillies and ladies from the Red Hat Society making appearances as servers. The people who took on these characters were all volunteers from the community who chose to donate their time to raise money for a good cause.
Cassie’s owner Mel Singer says that they continue to host the event each year because of the work that St. Jude does to help children with devastating diseases.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers. Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
