A move to provide suicide prevention training to students in Wyoming schools recently failed in the state Legislature.
House Bill 62 (amendments to Wyoming’s 2014 Jason Flatt Act) failed in the House, 34-25-1.
Monday morning on KODI’s “Speak Your Piece with Darian Dudrick,” Darian discussed the bill and suicide prevention efforts in Cody schools with Peg Monteith, Park County School District No. 6 superintendent; Dan Cossaboon, Cody High School psychologist; and CHS seniors Hannah Blasco and Soffy Anderson.
