Support St. Jude at Clint Black Concert Tomorrow

Written by on June 26, 2019

The Clint Black concert Thursday at the Cody Stampede grounds really is free – but bring your wallet with you.

It won’t cost a dime to walk in the gates and participate in the event, which boasts two opening acts, food and beverage vendors, an auction and other side activities. But attendees are asked to bring their cash and an open heart to support the real beneficiaries of the spectacle – the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Larry and Susan Patrick, who own Legend Communications, the parent company of the Big Horn Radio Network, have paid for this concert out of their own pockets as a way to not only give something back to the community that they call home, but also to support the work that’s being done at St. Jude.

To raise some serious money for the cause, Patrick says there will be volunteers at the concert Thursday night who will ask for cash donations, as well as auction items and other ways to raise funds. He adds that he and Susan will match whatever is raised at the concert and donate that amount to St. Jude.
