The Battle of the Josh’s
Written by Mac Morey on April 26, 2021
Sometimes the internet really does come through with pure gold. This was one of those times.
About a year ago a guy named Josh Swain got a bunch of other Josh Swains in a group message to propose that there can only be one true Josh. What started as funny banter became an international meme.

The original Josh set the venue of the fight with random coordinates that ended up being a farmer’s land. This particular man didn’t seem too keen on the idea of a bunch of random dudes fighting with pool noodles on his property.
They changed the coordinates and ended up in a park in Nebraska.

This was not all just fun and games though as the Josh’s set up a fundraiser to raise money for the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Foundation, which provides medical care to children in Lincoln, Nebraska. That along with each of them gathering up some nonperishable food for the Lincoln Food Bank made this an extremely silly while incredibly big success of an event.
It is refreshing to see random people coming together to benefit others while also remembering what matters: Who is the real Josh?

Good job buddy! Now we can all sleep at night. And if your name is Josh, you better get to brainstorming because that one is now taken.
