Traffic a Concern for Tonight’s Concert

It’s not the coming, it’s the going.
That’s the concern for the Cody Police Department regarding tonight’s concert at Stampede Park. Cody Police Chief Chuck Baker says that while they expect guests to trickle in throughout the afternoon, everyone will want to leave at the same time after the concert is over – and that could cause severe traffic congestion.
Baker points out that there will be parking attendants in place throughout the afternoon for individuals who bring their own vehicles, and while there will be a dedicated lane for emergency vehicles, the Trolley, the Rodeo Bus and other drop-off vehicles will also be allowed to use that lane to speed up the process.
