Traffic Delays Between Lovell and Cowley

Traffic delays are expected with the beginning of asphalt paving operations on Highway 310 and 789 between Lovell and Cowley.
Paving operations are scheduled to begin Friday. Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Michael Miller of Basin says drivers should expected delays of up to 20 minutes during paving, but after paving is complete, two lanes of traffic will be open over the Shoshone River bridge through the winter.
The $11.7 million Sage Creek highway and bridge improvement project consists of road widening, bridge widening over the Shoshone River, replacement of the Sage Creek and railroad bridges, asphalt paving, and other work. The contract completion date is Oct. 31st of next year.
