President Donald Trump will make an appearance in Billings next week, to campaign on behalf of U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale.
This marks the President’s second trip to Montana in less than two months. Trump’s campaign announced this week that the president will hold a rally at the MetraPark Arena in Billings on Sept. 6.
According to the announcement, the president will talk about the new U.S.-Mexico trade agreement and his economic and immigration policies, in addition to promoting Rosendale’s effort to defeat Democratic U.S. Sen Jon Tester.
Billings Police Chief Rich St. John said they will have more officers on duty during the President’s campaign rally for Matt Rosendale. Billings Police, Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office, and Montana Highway Patrol will work in conjunction with United States Secret Service during the event.
