Two Cody Residents Arrested in Drug Trafficking Sting

Four people have been arrested as part of a drug trafficking ring in Park and Big Horn Counties.
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation arrested 41 year old Brian Bland of Colorado, along with Cody couple William and Wendy Lee, on March 24th in Casper. The arrest came after a year and a half long investigation by DCI agents, which included tapping a Cody man’s cell phone.
The Powell Tribune says the agents disrupted a planned sale in Casper and seized more than a pound and a half of methamphetamine, with a street value of over $100,000. A fourth suspect was charged in connection with the case – 49-year-old Phillip McGuire of Cheyenne. DCI agents report that McGuire was allegedly involved with an ongoing drug trafficking organization operating in Park, Big Horn and Natrona counties.
