Over 3 million people visit Yellowstone National Park every year to view the infamous geysers, beautiful landscapes and wildlife. So far this year, there have been numerous tourist caught on video interacting with the park’s wildlife in a negative way, but this wildlife interaction that was caught on video was truly incredible.

With over half a million views, TikTok user @terrainshift  caught an incredible “bison traffic jam” on camera. The iconic Yellowstone creatures were strolling through traffic unfazed by the vehicles as they moved along the roadway. Check it out below!

“I love the sound of their hoofs,” wrote @TTV_xoselma. Brian R. Lodato also wrote, “I almost cried when the one baby nuzzled mommy near the end.”

Going to Yellowstone is truly an amazing experience, but being able to experience an amazing closeup interaction with wildlife and their young is amazing. Especially since no animals or people were harmed.

Recently, there has been an uptick of Yellowstone National Park visitors getting too close to wildlife unsafely, with one interaction resulting in the death of a bison calf and park officials searching for more wildlife harassers. The National Park Service recommends all visitor stay 100 yards from bears and wolves and 25 yards from bison, elk, and all other wildlife. Please remember to respect the animals of Yellowstone as they are wild and dangerous.
