VIDEO: Wyoming Fireworks vs. Colorado Fireworks

Being border neighbors, Wyoming and Colorado compete against each other often, but Independence Day in Colorado doesn’t hold a roman candle to Wyoming’s 4th of July festivities… literally.
It is a tried and true tradition in Wyoming to spend the day lighting off fireworks, even if you have to drive to a county where you can light them off legally. However, our neighbors to the south don’t have it as lucky as us northerners.
In Colorado, people from Wyoming can purchase fireworks but residents of Colorado can only purchase snakes, sparklers, and snaps. Nothing that explodes.
In the now viral video from Dude Dad, the Colorado content creator showcases how Wyoming likes to celebrate the 4th bigger and louder compared to our southern border neighbors.
Check out the video for yourself, but there is definitely no state that does Independence Day better than Wyoming!

Although Independence Day is celebrated best in Wyoming, there are some safety rules to keep in mind. In Wyoming, you cannot shoot fireworks everywhere, so be sure to check with your county to see when and where they are allowed.
