Vote for Cody in USA Today Poll
Written by Andrew-Rossi on April 22, 2019
Cody could be named the Best Historical Small Town of 2019.
But that’s only if the town gets enough votes in USA Today’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards for that category. Cody is currently ranked 13th out of 20, and is up against towns such as Abilene, Kansas; Deadwood, South Dakota; and Williamsburg, Virginia.
The twenty nominees have big histories and small populations – each town in the contest has fewer than 30,000 people as of the last census. Cody Chamber Staff are encouraging residents to vote for our little town as often as possible, as the contest is a great way to raise the national profile of Buffalo Bill’s Town in the Rockies – which could influence vacation choices for visitors from around the country.
Voting runs for just four weeks, and ends on Monday, May 6th. The public can vote once every day in each category.
