Warrior Basketball Host Buffalo in Season Finale Senior Night

The Worland Warrior Boys Basketball team is 16-3 with 1 final non-conference game remaining.

Worland started the season 1-3 and has rattled off 15 straight wins in a row.

The Warriors have won the Northwest Quad Championship and will be the number 1 seed going into the Wyoming 3A West Regional Tournament in Mountain View next weekend.

Tonight will be Senior Night and the final time 5 Seniors will play at Warrior Gymnasium.

The opponent tonight, The Buffalo Bison, will not go quietly.

Buffalo is 11-7 this season with losses to Scottsbluff, NE. 75-57, Rock Springs 62-49, Cody 48-38, Lyman 59-49, Douglas 64-41, Rawlins 42-39, and Powell 53-42.

The Bison are the Northeast Quad’s number 1 seed with 1 conference game remaining against 1-17 Newcastle.

Wyoming 3A’s 3rd highest-scoring offense is Buffalo averaging 59.1 points per game with a 42.1 shooting percentage ranking them 5th.

Defensively the Bison are ranked 8th overall allowing 51.8 points per game, and the Bison average 28.4 rebounds per game.
