Warrior Cross Country Finishes 5th At Billings Invite

The Worland Warrior Cross Country team was in Billings for the Billings Invite this past Friday at Amend Park.
There were over 40 teams from across Montana and Wyoming at the meet, with 21 scoring teams.
The Wyoming teams included: Cody, Lovell, Powell, Rocky Mountain, Sheridan, Thermopolis, Tongue River, and Worland.
Worland Warriors Boys finished 5th overall with 161 points.
The 3rd top finish for Wyoming teams and 2nd for Wyoming 3A.
Sheridan won the meet overall, and Cody finished 4th.
Sophomore Trajn Swalstad finished 13th overall, Senior Jack Bishop was 20th there were 158 runners in the field.
For the Lady Warriors Sophmore, Zena Tapia finished 6th overall, 44 seconds behind the winner.
Worland High School Cross Country will be in Buffalo this week for the Buffalo Invite.
