Warrior Cross Country Win At Buffalo Invite

Worland High School Cross Country Boys team with the win at Buffalo.
The Lady Warrior Girls team finished 5th overall.
13 teams from across Wyoming were at the Buffalo Invite: Worland, Cody, Buffalo, Riverton, Rocky Mountain, Lander, Powell, Douglas, Big Horn, Thermopolis, Lovell, Wyoming Indian, and Wright.
Senior All-State Runner Jack Bishop finished 5th overall.
Sophomore Trajn Swalstad with a top 10 finish. Senior Melvin Croft, Sophomore Kiyoshi Smith, and Junior Ira Croft would all finish in the top 25.
There were over 150 Boys running at the Buffalo Invite.
On the Girl’s side, Senior Carly Venable would get the top finish at 14th.
Senior Isaira Matamoros, Junior Nyssa Leyva, and Sophomore Keira Woffinden all finished in the top 40.
Close to 100 runners competed on the Girl’s side.
The WHS Cross Country team will be in Ethete, Wyoming this upcoming Saturday, September 10th.
