Warrior Swimming And Diving Finish 4th At Conference

The Worland Warrior Boys Swimming and Diving Team were the Host of the 2023 3A East (Absarka Conference) Championships this weekend at the Aquatic Center.
The Warriors finished tied for 4th with Riverton both teams receiving 206 points.
Buffalo was the Conference Champion with 275 points, Powell 2nd with 246 points, Cody 3rd with 228 points, Newcastle was 6th with 83 points followed by Douglas with 46 points.
The Warriors finished 2nd in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with the team of Seniors Gage Stanek, Trae Bennett, Wyatt Whitlock, and Walker Cooper.
Gage Stanek finished 2nd in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
Walker Cooper finished 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
Melvin Croft was 3rd in Diving with 362.6 points.
In the 100 Yard Butterfly Canton Green finished 6th.
In the 100 Yard Freestyle Walker Cooper finished 2nd.
The Warrior team of Jack Bishop, James Williams, Gage Stanek, and Canton Green finished 4th in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
12 Warriors will head to the 2023 Wyoming 3A State Championships on February 17th and 18th.
Gage Stanek, Jack Bishop, Walker Cooper, Trae Bennett, Canton Green, Melvin Croft, Wyatt Whitlock, James Williams, Tobias Driver, Scottie Thomas, Ethan Warren, and Noah Mitchell, along with Senior Team Manager Echo Allen.
