Warriors Remain In Top 5 In Wyoming 3A Basketball

The Worland Warrior Boys Basketball team is 9-3 overall and 2-0 in Conference going into Week 7 of the season.

The Warriors have won 8 in a row going back to January 6th against Rawkins in the Winter Classic.

The Warrior signature wins this season are against Pinedale 64-51 currently number 5 in Wyoming 3A Basketball, Rocky Mountain 78-39 number 5 in Wyoming 2A Basketball, Lander 66-43 ranked number 3, and the only team to beat Douglas this season, Powell 72-66 who is ranked number 4 in Wyoming 3A.

Worland also beat 4A Rock Springs 56-50 who are currently 7-7 this season.

The toughest loss was to Cody 43-53, Cody is 4-6 overall and has lost to Powell and Lovell.

An argument can be made that the Warriors could be the number 1 ranked team in Wyoming 3A Basketball.

The current number 1 ranked Douglas Bearcats are 13-1 this season.

The 1 loss this year was to Lander 47-43 in Lander.

The Bearcat signature wins are against 4A number 1 ranked Cheyenne East 51-50 at East, a 42-40 win over Cheyenne Central who is currently number 2 in Wyoming 4A at Central.

Douglas has played 3 ranked teams going 2-1.

Worland has played 4 ranked teams going 4-0.
