Warriors Shutout the Outlaws

The Worland Warriors Varsity Football Team shut out the Rawlins Outlaws on Friday in Rawlins.
It was the Rawlins Outlaws Homecoming Friday facing the Warriors.
In the first 2 minutes and 38 seconds, the Warriors would get 3 downs and out stop of the Outlaws, get the football, and in 3 plays Senior Quarterback Kade Weber would pass to Senior Wide Reciever Brock Douzenis and go ahead 7-0.
The second series for Rawlins would end in an interception by Douzenis.
Worland was unable to capitalize on the turnover as they had a 38-yard attempted field goal blocked.
Rawlins would go on a 13-play nearly 9-minute and just under 80-yard drive which Worland’s Defense would stuff on a 4th and 2 from the Warrior’s 2-yard line and take over on downs.
Quarterback Kade Weber would start the offense at the 2-yard line after a false start penalty with just under 3 minutes remaining in the first half.
Thirteen plays later Worland would scrap, out a 98-yard scoring drive leaving 2 seconds on the clock and a 1-yard touchdown keeper from Weber.
Worland was up 14-0 at the half.
The Warriors would drive down the field in the second half and would have an unfortunate fumble on the 1-yard line as they were driving in for a touchdown, and Rawlins would recover.
The very next play Rawlins would fumble in the end zone and after determining who had recovered for either a safety or a touchdown, Worland’s Trae Bennett would end up with the football scoring a touchdown for the Warriors.
With the final 10 minutes of the game Worland ran 7 plays and a punt, Rawlins ran 10 plays and would turn the ball over on downs.
In an attempt to put the game away Worland would lose its second fumble of the game with under a minute remaining in the contest. Rawlins would run out the clock.
Worland would get the 21-0 win over the Outlaws.
Quarterback Kade Weber threw for 241 yards and a touchdown, he also ran for 38 yards and a touchdown.
Senior Wide Receiver Court Gonsalez caught v5 balls for 64 yards.
Brock Douzenis caught 4 balls for 81 yards and a 33-yard touchdown.
The Rawlins Outlaws ran for 206 yards. Threw the football twice the first for a Brock Douzenis interception, and the second was completed for 5 yards.
