Warriors Soccer Stays Unbeaten With Win Over Torrington

The Worland Warriors Boys Soccer Team is now 5-0-1 after the 9-0 win over Torrington Friday.
Worland playing back in Warrior Stadium against the Trailblazers the new Conference opponent.
The last time these two teams met was at the 2022 Wyoming 3A State Championship, a match Worland won 7-0 for their fourth consecutive State Title.
Nine different Warriors scored the nine goals against Torrington.
Sophomore Ryan Deniz scored 1st at the 36:07 mark with an assist from Senior Carter Clark.
Senior Tim Hamer scored with the first of 2 assists from Sophomore Drew Schneider at the 17:41 mark.
With 16:26 remaining in the first half Senior Trae Bennett would score with a header from a corner kick from Senior Court Gonsalez.
In the second half, Freshman Colt Weber would score the first Varsity goal of his career with the second assist from Gonsalez.
Senior Omar Deniz would sink a goal from a Gonsalez assist at the 27:32 mark.
With 21:15 remaining in the match Carter Clark would score with the 4th assist from Gonsalez.
Freshman Cooper Cannon would get in on the action with his first ever Varsity goal from an assist from Schneider.
Sophomore Brayan Caballero would get a goal with Gonsalez’s 5th assist of the match.
At the 3:27 mark remaining in the match, Sophomore Masen Decker would score with an assist from Omar Deniz.
