Warriors Sweep Winter Classic In Rawlins

The Worland Warriors were on the road for the past weekend.
Thursday the Warriors were in Cody to face the 4A Cody Broncs.
In a hard-fought contest, the Warriors came up short and would fall 53-43 to the Broncs.
Friday the Warriors traveled the long way around through Rock Springs to get to Rawlins for the 2023 Winter Classic.
Eight teams from the Wyoming 3A ranks were at the Classic.
Rawlins, Thermopolis, Buffalo, Big Piney, Lyman, Mountain View, Pinedale, and Worland.
The Warriors would first play host team Rawlins on Friday night.
Worland would get the win over the 2022 Wyoming 3A Defending State Champions 51-40.
Saturday would be an early start for a 9:30 am match-up against Pinedale.
Worland would win 64-51.
In the final game of the Classic Worland beat Mountain View 59-36.
The Warriors are 4-3 this season with the up coming Big Horn Classic this Friday.
