Warriors With Big Win Over Rawlins On Homecoming Night

The Worland Warriors won their third straight game this past Friday on Homecoming Day 49-7 over the Rawlins Outlaws.

The Warriors lost the first two weeks of the season to Powell in Powell and Cody in Worland.

Since then the Warriors have beaten Green River in Green River, Lander in Worland and Rawlins in Worland.

The Warriors offense Friday was impressive with 481 total yards.

Quarterback Kade Weber threw for 217 yards throwing 29 times and completing 19 passes with 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.

Weber also ran the ball 7 times for 39 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Junior Wide Receiver Brock Douzenis ran the ball twice for 7 yards and a touchdown. He also lead the team in receptions with 7 for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Senior Captain Jorey Anderson had 4 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Carter Clark had 4 catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Playing Running Back, for this game, Aaron Carver ran the ball 11 times for 107 yards…. in just the first half.

Defensively, at Linebacker, Carver lead the team in tackles with 8.

Senior Nose Guard Christian Peterson had 2 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack.

Senior  Defensive End Ty Harris had a tackle, a sack, a blocked pass, and a blocked kick.

Coming into the game Sophomore Corner Back Wyatt Dickinson had 2 fourth quarter interceptions.

The Warriors held Rawlins to -28 yards rushing on 22 attempts. That was negative twenty eight yards.

Rawlins threw the ball 25 times for 134 yards and a touchdown.

The Outlaws had 1 pass play for 70 yards and a touchdown.

The Warriors allowed just 169 total yards against Rawlins.
