Warriors XC Finish Third at Buffalo Invitational

The Worland Warrior Cross Country team finished third at the Buffalo Invitational over the Labor Day Weekend.
Two Warriors finished in the top 10. Juniors Jack Bishop 6th place and Melvin Croft 10th place.
Two more Warriors finished in the top 20. Sophomores Jacob Holiday 12th and Ira Croft 20th.
Twelve more Warrior Runners finished : Train Swalstad, Kobe Swain, Jackson Wassum, Ethan Warren, Wyatt Whitlock, Harley Redding, Derringer Jones, Will Bishop, Koby Busch, Gage Stanek, Ethan Miller, and Ike Hoffman.
Host team Buffalo and Cody would finish with 52 points, Worland 71, Rocky Mountain 82, Powell 94, Rawlins 184, and Lovell with 191 points.
The Lady Warriors finished with 88 points, Powell 74, Buffalo 45, and Invite winner Cody with 20 points.
Worland had six Lady Warriors finish with Junior Carly Venable finishing the highest with 9th place.
The five other Lady Warriors were : Isaira Matamoros, Zena Tapia, Saria Matamoros, Keira Wolffinden, and Jaden Earl.
The Worland High School Cross Country team will next be in Ethete, Wyoming at the Chief Nation Invitational at Wyoming Indian High School.
